This device works great. No more sore thumbs loading a 30 round magazine. It's also great at unloading the magazine. I can unload a 30 round magazine with this faster than I could shoot 30 rounds. It unloads the magazine almost as fast as if you were shooting full-auto.

Every now and then, a life-changing product comes along. This is one of those. Israel equips their military with these and they win wars.

I've found rotating 30 round AR mags for the gun safe to be a real pain in the thumb, literally! The UpLula makes it fast and easy to load and unload. Works with GI and PMags. I'd give it six stars if I could!

Ordered on Monday, recieved on Friday. This thing is the best invention since the detachable box magazine! I like to keep a few loaded 30 round AR mags in the safe and need to rotate them now and then. Now it's a snap! Rotated four in 300blk and four in 5.56 in about 15 minutes! If you have any high cap mags and don't have a Lula, you need one whether you know it or not. Thanks for the fast service Brownells.

I was hesitant to spend the money on this loader, but it is well worth it. Makes loading and unloading AR-15 mags so much faster and easier. Wish they made one for the AR .22 LR mags. Highly recommended!

This loader is superb. Simple, fits perfectly on all my AR mags, works on both 5.56 and 6.8mm SPC ammo! Load and unload FAST without wearing out the thumbs. It was made in Israel, and they know what the heck they're doing! They make another loader for cartridges on a stripper, and it will slam 10 shells at a time into the magazine. It works JUST as well! They make one for my Taurus PT145 .45 auto, and I plan to buy that too. THANKS Maglula.

This thing is awesome! I was a little skeptic about it thinking "how hard is it to manually load a magazine?". It does help with the loading process. But the magic happens when you need to UNLOAD a magazine. Pushing rounds out with your thumb is a slow, uncomfortable process. This thing just burns through the process. I'm a DAV, with a mangled left hand , so loading mags can be frustrating at best. It normally takes me about 3 to 4 minutes to load a single 20 round magazine and I hated to load my 30 rounders . Well , not any more !!! The MAGLULA AR-15/M16 mag loader makes it EASY. I can now stuff a 20 round P-mag in under 45 seconds and loading my 30 round P-mags (they really will hold 32 rounds) takes maybe a full minute. Now I can spend more time shooting and less time cussing. The MAGLULA fits perfect on my P-mags as well as my metal Mags . As for unloading magazines,,,,

These loaders are great for anyone who shoots a lot of rounds. I have various loaders from this company and they all work wonderfully. Save you fingers and pick up a Lula.
This specific loader will work on 6.8 SPC AR-15 mags as well as the 5.56/223 which is nice. I have tested it on various polymer and metal mags and it works on everything I have tried.

Although I prefer loading mags without mag loader, this thing really shines in unloading! The only way to unload magazines faster is to shoot them empty. Useful tool and recommended.

Bought this magazine loader/unloader after trying one my friend brought to the range. I found it to be VERY handy in both loading and unloading my magazines (both steel and polymer types) faster than I ever thought possible, all without stressing the magazine's feed lips and saving your thumbs the pain of loading by hand.

Fantastic design, lever is easy to grasp and manipulate, fits and works great on every mag I've tried it on, although personally I've found it works best with my polymer-type magazines. I was pleased to find that the operating lever on top conveniently slides inside the unit, making it more compact for easier packing in my range bag. Solid, durable construction feels like it will last a long time. Unless you're planning on smashing the thing with a hammer over and over again, it should stand up to whatever punishment you would rightly submit to a magazine loader.

One thing I'll say for sure is that although it will substantially increase magazine loading speed, the speed at which it UNLOADS a magazine is also extremely impressive! All you do is hold the magazine upside down and rock the lever back and forth and a round will fall out of the mag with every stroke. Maybe not as important as its loading speed, but still pretty cool to see in action.

I suggest that anyone who owns this product to practice holding several rounds in one hand (I usually hold 10 at once), individually adding one round at a time in the loading area, while manipulating the lever with the other hand. With practice, this will make loading your magazines MUCH FASTER than picking up one round from your ammo box at a time and placing it in the loader.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone using an AR-15/M16/M4 rifle, pistol, or carbine.

I prefer loading magazines by hand but this will also load mags well. I prefer this item for safe unloading of loaded magazines. A few minutes of practice will give those who routinely rotate action ready magazines an efficient way for timely and hassle-free magazine unloading and rotation. Well made and sturdy product with written and photo illustrated directions.

Have difficulty using thumbs for loading because of arthritis...this speed loader makes it a breeze!!!! Have tried several other speed loaders for ARs...but this one is superior to all the others....
