Just likethe Krebs Custom retaining plate, and now you don't have to fool with that awful shephards crook. 5 second install, and much stronger than the factory thin wire, in most AK variants.

Works great, easier to install than Tapco or that darn spring, might save you a minute's fooling around. But 2 1/2 times as expensive?

Slipped right in with the tapco double hook trigger group. Did it job of locking the pin in well. Easy to install and well built quality product.

Purchased it for my Saiga MK-03. Installation takes 3 min. Works well - similar to the stock spring, but now it is much easier to assembly/disassembly trigger group.

I will always buy one of these retainers before every build! The only negative was that I had to use a dremel to cut out a notch after adding a side mount for a scope. It would really be great if the notch that I had to add was already cut in so that I didn't have to do it!

Fitting needed for Yugos (11/12/2017)

I installed this in my M92 PAP pistol. I had to file the notch for the trigger pin larger due to the distance between the trigger pin and safety selector hole being longer than designed. Overall good product but there might be a better part on the market for Yugos.

AK retaainer works perfect (31/01/2018)

Works just as described and super simple installation. This part really makes assembly of the AK fire control group a snap.

Fits my O-PAP (10/04/2018)

I put this in my Yugo O-Pap and it didnt appear to need any fitting. It went right in and appears to be working as designed.
