This item is a must have for cleaning your AR-15. The Link separates the upper and lower assemblies, but holds them securely to allow easy breech access for bore cleaning using a Sinclair Rod Guide. Made of Delrin and stainless steel, it is virtually impervious to solvents. The Cleaning Link uses the rear locking pin and rear locking pin hole and installs in seconds.

If you own an ar-15 i don't know how you clean it with out this. Everybody i loaned it to bought one.

This is a great way to clean the AR quickly and cleanly! The link holds the rifle broken open with only the rear pin removed and then allows the AR to fit in a conventional rifle cleaning cradle. It's rock solid when installed. The rod guide fits snug, guides the brush or patch right in, and keeps the solvent where you want it. Both are very well made and durable.

The rod guide works great, no surprise there, but the link is my new favorite cleaning tool.

The rod guide fits perfectly in my Stag Arms Model 6L allowing me to use the brush quickly without worrying about damaging my rod or barrel. It eliminates all flex in the rod. It also has a convenient opening to pour or spray in your cleaning agents. The Link kit holds the upper up for easy access and works as intended. This cut my cleaning time dramatically and is a must have for a benchrest shooter that likes to clean frequently.

This is one of those items that you don't realize you need it until you have it. Have no idea how I cleaned my AR's prior to this. I just use a receiver (magwell) vice block to hold the rifle in place, and easy as pie from there. Works great with my Dewey cleaning rod, and fits all of my ARs perfectly.

If you have thought about this, but didn't purchase because it was "just a piece of plastic" just buy the set already!

Glad I now have this in my shop!

Not simplest thing to use initially but it does prevent the rifle from closing on fingers or swinging open and catching rod handle in the head
