This mount was designed for use with the Williams FP-GR TK peep sight. The corresponding front sight and block from Williams are: Lyman Globe Front Sight Williams Rear Sight Top of the receiver to the top of the rear sight dovetail is .330" Top of the receiver to the top of the picatinny rail is .45" This rail is ambidextrous. This mount is milled on both sides for bolt clearance on left or right handed models. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. They machine these in their shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately). The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.

Questo binario è ambidestro. Il supporto è fresato su entrambi i lati per garantire il passaggio delle viti per i modelli destrosi e sinistrorsi.
Le scanalature trasversali picatinny percorrono l'intera lunghezza del binario, offrendo al tiratore flessibilità nel montaggio degli anelli per ottiche e altri accessori. Il canale al centro riduce la massa complessiva del supporto e, in molti casi, non ostacola l'uso dei mirini in ferro di fabbrica.
I supporti per ottiche monoblocco di EGW sono la scelta ovvia per cacciatori e tiratori tattici. Vengono lavorati nel loro laboratorio utilizzando uno dei loro centri di lavorazione. Dopo la fresatura, i supporti vengono sottoposti a un processo di sbattimento, sabbiatura e anodizzazione di tipo II per garantire una durata nel tempo.
