Ted Yost developed and made these sights several years ago and after a long absence from the marketplace they are once again available from Harrison Design. These sights can be used to rescue a slide from mis-cut front dovetails. They have an oversize dovetail base featuring nominal dimensions of .085"" depth, .375"" width with a 65 dovetail angle. That's big enough to rescue most any sort of ugliness and butchery. The blade is .275"" tall X .630"" long X .125 wide. The vertical rill pin has been omitted so you can match it's location to wherever your slide's hole location is located. The dovetail base is .625"" wide, so it can be blended to the top of your slide, or youcan cut the sides back for the appearance you want. A radius is machined at the point where the blade joins the dovetail base, strengthening the sight appreciably. This is a part that every gunsmith should keep 2 or 3 of on hand as it can get you out of a jam is a slip up is made. It can be cut down and made into other sight blanks as well. It's a great tool for your toolbox you use to be a great gunsmith!

Questi mirini possono essere utilizzati per salvare una carrello da tacche di mira anteriore tagliate male. Hanno una base a coda di rondine di dimensioni maggiorate con dimensioni nominali di profondità 0,085"", larghezza 0,375"" e un angolo a coda di rondine di 65 gradi. Queste dimensioni sono abbastanza grandi da salvare la maggior parte dei tipi di brutture e macellerie. La lama è alta 0,275"" X lunga 0,630"" X larga 0,125"". Il perno verticale è stato omesso in modo che tu possa abbinare la sua posizione a quella del foro del tuo carrello.
