Beyond quality and aesthetics, the Model 1 features fully ambidextrous controls, adding much-needed utility for both left- and right-handed shooters. Every Model 1 is assembled by hand, one at a time, by a trained gunsmith who inspects, test fires, and cleans the weapon to personally guarantee it meets the most rigid quality standards. No detail has gone overlooked, which is why the Model 1—like every Radian product—is guaranteed for life. Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, the A-DAC 15 is a fully ambidextrous lower receiver for AR-15–style firearms. In addition to the Talon Ambidextrous Safety Selector, left-side magazine release, and right-side bolt release, the A-DAC 15 features the patented A-DAC (Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch), which allows right-handed shooters to easily lock the bolt to the rear without taking their hand off fire control. To hold the bolt back using the A-DAC, simply pull the charging handle to the rear, depress the right-side magazine release button, then release the charging handle. Il RADIAN WEAPONS ADAC-15 MODEL-1 è stato progettato con una filosofia chiara: utilizzare i materiali grezzi della massima qualità, le attrezzature di lavorazione CNC più precise e i migliori componenti disponibili per creare un'arma che fonde perfettamente forma e funzione.
Oltre alla qualità e all'estetica, il Model 1 presenta controlli completamente ambidestri, aggiungendo una funzionalità molto necessaria per i tiratori mancini e destrorsi. Ogni Model 1 è assemblato a mano, uno alla volta, da un armaiolo esperto che ispeziona, prova e pulisce l'arma per garantire personalmente che soddisfi i più rigorosi standard di qualità. Nessun dettaglio è stato trascurato, motivo per cui il Model 1, come ogni prodotto Radian, è garantito a vita.
Realizzato in alluminio 7075-T6 lavorato a macchina, l'A-DAC 15 è un ricevitore inferiore completamente ambidestro per armi in stile AR-15. Oltre al selettore di sicurezza ambidestro Talon, al rilascio del caricatore sul lato sinistro e al rilascio del percussore sul lato destro, l'A-DAC 15 presenta il brevetto A-DAC (Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch), che consente ai tiratori destrorsi di bloccare facilmente il percussore nella posizione arretrata senza dover staccare la mano dal controllo di fuoco.
Per mantenere il percussore in posizione arretrata utilizzando l'A-DAC, basta tirare il manico di ricarica verso il retro, premere il pulsante di rilascio del caricatore sul lato destro e poi rilasciare il manico di ricarica.
