Replacement Receiver End Plate For Mounting Pushbutton Sling Swivel

Low-profile ambidextrous mount replaces the factory receiver end plate to allow easy attachment of a QD sling swivel to the rear of the receiver. Won't interfere with access to weapon's controls, and won't snag on foliage, vehicle, or other gear. Made of steel to allow proper staking of buffer tube lock nut on the lower receiver. Compatible with mil-spec lower receivers with M4-style collapsible stocks. Lets collapsible stocks collapse fully.

SPECS: Steel, Parkerized, dark gray finish. Fits AR-15/M16with M4-type collapsible stock.

This is the perfect choice! (20/04/2010)

This is the simplest and easiest choice for a sling attachment. There aren't "wings" hanging out to the side and there isn't any additional bulk to the stock tube. It takes advantage of the natural recess in the lower receiver which is otherwise empty.

Best QD Receiver Mount (24/09/2010)

Great product, I have these installed on each of my 3 ARs. It's light weight, doesn't get in the way, and hold the QD swivel well.

I only ran into an installation snag on one rifle. If the buffer tube is not threaded very far up the tube then the castle nut cannot go on the tube far enough to allow the insertion of of the QD socket into the receiver.

The solution is to get a better buffer tube with more threads. This is not a common problem so don't let that stop you fom buying this product.

I had a pinch type loop sling adapter before I purchased this one. I really like the ease of on and off the push button compared to fumbling with the caribiner on my singlepoint sling.
When to take the pushbutton off it's like its not even there.

Between my issued SBR and my two personal rifles I have tried many sling plates. None even come CLOSE to this. Perfect fit, finish, i ll never use 45 offsets again. PS save some cash buy the Midwest Industries swivel studs just as good and $10 cheaper Ill be using these for all mine and so will my brothers the little Noveske engrave is kick butt too

Why use any other? (27/12/2011)

If you are looking for the best single point sling attachment look no further. This piece of arms hardware really gets the job done by having a low profile, quick attach, and detach, point of index for the AR15 weapons platform. I highly recommend this for LE or Military combat training where ambidextrous positions are being practiced in training and/or real-time. It won't allow sling to get tangled up on the weapons system itself.

Great end plate (04/01/2012)

This is great to have and makes the gun even more ambidextrious. It also makes it modular and easy to use. The stock can collapse down to the shortest position. I can change sling postions with the QD mounts on the rail, back of the reciever, and on the stock. Great for single point or 2 point slings.

Useful for helping keep your light weight build light weight. Ambidextrous, simple to install, and low profile. Suggest using a QD with a low profile button or recessed button.

Well finished and tough as nails. Allows factory stock to fully close. If you have a Colt rifle you will need a real strong nut wrench to remove the factory nut.

Maybe it's just the one I got because people seemed generally pleased, but my copy is very poorly finished. Inner and outer edges are extremely rough and show marks from whatever was used to cut it. Doesn't look like it was machined but rather cut with a saw. Not at all up to the quality you'd expect of Noveske. I'm sure it will work OK, but if I had it to do over I'd go with something else. Impact Weapons has a similar product with a limited rotation QD socket that's actually cheaper. I'll probably return this and go with the IWC endplate instead.

Varying quality (24/02/2015)

The first Noveske endplate I received was perfect. Smooth and no machine markings. I was so impressed by it, I ordered another one. I would give this a five star rating if not for the second Noveske endplate I received. The second one was a different shade of grey (no problem, I can deal with that). However, the machining and finish around the edges were rough (typical of other cheaper endplates). It had pit-like roughness on the edges.

Essentially its like playing the lottery. You might get a perfect one or a less than perfect. Still a quality product that performs its function as an endplate and allowing the qd swivel to attach.

Great quality - but be careful of fit (04/07/2016)

Like all Noveske products I've used, the construction and finish are excellent -- far better than the generic or standard Colt end plates I've used. The trouble for me is that the lug is just slightly too far away from the tube centerline to drop into the lug hole in the receiver. I'm sure this is because the end plate is made to exactly the spec dimension with zero tolerance. This would make for a fit with zero movement... if it actually fit. I tried it on two different lower receivers -- a Sun Devil billet lower and a Sig M400 lower, and three different mil spec buffer tubes. No joy. The lug is a thousandth or two too far away from centerline. As a result I ended up using a not-so-nicely-finished generic end plate and my very-nicely-finished high-dollar Noveske sits unused in my spare parts bin.

Note that the generic end plates don't use a round lug. They're squared off on top and bottom to eliminate the interference problem you get from stacked parts tolerances. Since the Noveske has to accommodate a QD fitting, it has to be round. It probably fits perfectly on some lowers. In my case, on my project Sun Devil lower, it just won't fit without some machining.
