The Geissele AR-15 Lower Parts Kit contains all 17 parts necessary to get your lower receiver operational - minus the trigger and pistol grip. Lower parts kit review (19/03/2018)

I wanted to be happy with this product but it seems like almost each part was problematic. I am comparing this to a colt lpk minus fcg. The trigger guard pin was out of spec and took some serious pressure in a vise to drive it thru. The same can be said for the bolt catch release pin. The finish looks good but this lower parts kit was such a pain to put together without marring my receiver. Next time ill just spend the extra 20 bucks for a quality lower parts kit.

worked as advertised (04/04/2018)

Placed in Anderson lower. Used Geissele national match trigger. You need the usual punches, blocks, etc. to make it easier, and masking tape to protect surfaces. Everything fit fine and snug.

Quality Lower Parts Kit (24/06/2018)

This is a quality lower parts kit. It fit perfectly in my Brownells 16A1 lower. It was exactly what I needed since I already have a trigger and pistol grip for my build. I did not have any problems with the install. The roll pins were tight. I had slight difficulty with the trigger guard roll pin which was hard to hammer through. It might have been because I did not grease the trigger guard/roll pin enough. I would definitely use this parts kit again for future builds.

Not Worth It (14/07/2018)

Product arrives in a plastic bag with no branding what so ever. Not even sure if I even got the Geissele lower parts kit I ordered. Anodizing is grey and not black. Really looks silly when you get a quality lower receiver that has a solid black anodizing and grey lower parts kit. Push pins did not fit, and were out of spec. Ended up damaging my receiver before getting properly spec'd push pins at my LGS. I would not recommend and would look elsewhere, it is a solid deal, but you "get what you pay for" and unfortunately, this did not live up to the Geissele reputation.

Disapointment (23/07/2018)

I specifically picked this lower parts kit thinking it would have a nice smooth safety selector. Mr. Geissele even said in a live video when he announced the release of his lower parts kits that the safety would be smooth and be easy to flip from safe to fire. This is the worst safety selector I've ever come across. It takes more effort, is gritty and hangs up in a couple positions between safe and fire.It also requires you to fully push it all the way to the fire position. Hopefully I just got a lemon because I love everything else Geissele makes. I have no complaints as far as the rest of the kit goes. Everything fit well and I had no problem installing the roll pins.

Good Quality mil-spec parts kit (26/08/2018)

Writing this review because of some of the crazy reviews I saw on here. This is a standard mil-spec parts kit. Thereâs no fancy âGâ marks on it and donât know why someone would even think that. Fits perfectly and had all the parts you need for your lower. Iâm very happy with it and will buy it over and over.

Good Quality - Off Color (27/08/2018)

This kit had everything I needed to build out a stripped lower. I purchased a trigger elsewhere. No fitting issues, and all parts expected were included. The black color for mag release, safety, and bolt catch were a lighter black vs my Aero lower & upper. I figured black was black, but that's not the case. I'm ok with the slight difference, and believe the parts are of high quality. All installed as I'd hoped and have functioned as expected for >1000 rounds.

Great parts (08/09/2018)

Came all in a bag with no instructions or parts list but they worked great for my Spikes Lower build. None of the parts are branded with the Geissele logo but still look great and like any other lower parts kit.

Broke both rolling pin (19/09/2018)

Parts seems to be quality parts, all spring is stronger than my Novesky spring, which can be a good and bad thing. But my complain come from the rolling pin, as it is pretty much impossible to install in my Spikes lower. Luckily I also bought the Geissele Maritime bolt catch that come with a rollling pin, which is much easier to install. But my trigger guard still has half of the pin stick out.

Kit is missing trigger pins (28/09/2018)

The parts in this kit are mil-spec quality, although the takedown pins were *very* tight in my receiver and had to be lubed and worked back and forth just to get them inserted all the way. They eventually loosen up and everything is fine.

The problem with this kit is that it doesn't contain the trigger and hammer pins so if you buy a trigger without them (hrrumph... TriggerTech) then you will have to turn around and order the pins and wait another week for them to come. The DPMS pins are the cheapest at $2.99 each but then consider shipping and you are adding another $10 to the price of this kit. Now you're into the range of the CMMG and DPMS complete lower parts kits. So this kit is really not a value for the price they are asking
