AR-15 END PLATE W/ 3-QD SLING SWIVEL SOCKETS STEEL As is FCD’s practice, ESF’s shape is dictated by its functions. In order to accommodate the rear facing socket, and fill one of the design requirements that ESF must be able to use stakable castle nuts and allow the carbine stock to fully collapse, ESF has a slight increase in width on the sides, and small openings on the top of the sockets housing. These design cues do not affect ESF’s structural integrity, and mostly go unnoticed by users, they merely reflect a paradox, that it can be quite complicated to create a simplified design. A seemingly simple product can often be more than meets the eye. A conventional castle nut wrench has 3 lugs, in some cases, the socket housing may partially block access to one of them. A 2 lug castle nut wrench, such as the AR Multitasker, or our JCW (Joint Castle nut Wrench) would be required to torque the castle nut properly. Per soddisfare i requisiti di design, l'ESF presenta un leggero aumento di larghezza sui lati e piccole aperture sulla parte superiore delle custodie dei socket. Questi dettagli di design non influiscono sull'integrità strutturale dell'ESF e, per la maggior parte, passano inosservati agli utenti. Riflessioni su come un prodotto apparentemente semplice possa nascondere complessità.
Nota: Le piastre di fine che incorporano socket QD laterali possono mascherare le notches della chiave necessarie per la coppia. Una chiave per castello convenzionale ha 3 linguette; in alcuni casi, la custodia del socket potrebbe bloccare parzialmente l'accesso a una di esse. È necessaria una chiave per castello a 2 linguette, come l'AR Multitasker o la nostra JCW (Joint Castle nut Wrench) per serrare correttamente il dado di castello.
