The ATLAS S-ONE is the newest addition to the Aero Precision Handguard lineup. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the S-ONE line of handguards are designed with size and weight in mind, providing the perfect handguard for your lightweight build. Aero's proprietary ATLAS attachment system is a durable and dependable mounting platform, maintaining a slim profile while still providing the strength and stability customers have grown to love from Aero Precision handguards. Actual Handguard Lengths: 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7", 15" -- Aero Precision rail lengths measure from end to end. This is the point of contact at the receiver to the end of the last picatinny slot at the muzzle. Available in M-LOK profiles with 7.3", 9.3", 10.3", 12.7" and 14.94 (Actual Length 15") options. ATLAS The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It features 2 mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut with use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during installation. All hardware mounting parts are included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard. Sistema di attacco ATLAS
Il nuovo Sistema di Attacco a Taper Lock (ATLAS) è sia funzionale che esteticamente gradevole. Include 2 dadi di bloccaggio a cono speculari che forniscono una pressione di serraggio uniformemente distribuita su un dado di canna ingegnerizzato su misura tramite l'uso di una vite a tirante. Un detent a cricchetto ulteriormente sicuro il design mentre fornisce una registrazione positiva durante l'installazione. Per progettazione, la pressione uniforme del sistema ATLAS evita la distorsione della protezione spesso vista con le applicazioni attuali durante l'installazione.
Compatibilità
Tutte le parti di montaggio hardware sono incluse con l'acquisto di una protezione ATLAS. Le protezioni ATLAS sono progettate per adattarsi perfettamente ai ricevitori superiori filettati M4E1 di Aero. Inoltre, sono compatibili con qualsiasi ricevitore superiore AR-15 conforme allo standard Mil-Spec.
