Mil-spec never dies, but it's way past its prime. When it comes to ARs, the smaller the part, the less people think about it. But that doesn't mean there's not room for improvement almost everywhere you look. Both in design and manufacturing, there are always gains to be made. The JP Enhanced Cam Pin retains every critical Mil-spec dimension of the part but improves on both design and finish. A smoother operating system with lower overall wear in the components is the result. In addition to receiving our low-friction QPQ finish, our Enhanced Cam Pins are also machined thicker than the usual undersized dimension of standard pins. An undersized pin drops right in but allows slop in the relationship between bolt, bolt carrier and cam pin. Looseness in these parts stresses the cam pin hole of the bolt during cycling, which is why bolt breakage is so common at this point. It also wears the cam pin faster as the carrier wears into the material at the bearing points. A tighter pin with low-friction coating cuts all this wear down dramatically.

Parti Fabbricante: JPCP223 812872024851 Il mil-spec non muore mai, ma è decisamente superato. Quando si tratta di AR, più la parte è piccola, meno le persone ci pensano. Ma questo non significa che non ci sia spazio per miglioramenti quasi ovunque ci si volti. Sia nella progettazione che nella fabbricazione, ci sono sempre margini di miglioramento. Il JP Enhanced Cam Pin mantiene ogni dimensione critica del mil-spec, ma migliora sia nel design che nella finitura. Il risultato è un sistema operativo più fluido con un'usura complessiva inferiore nei componenti. Oltre a ricevere la nostra finitura a basso attrito QPQ, i nostri Enhanced Cam Pins sono lavorati più spessi rispetto alla dimensione standard solitamente ridotta dei perni comuni. Un perno sottodimensionato si inserisce facilmente ma permette gioco nella relazione tra otturatore, porta-otturatore e cam pin. Questo gioco nelle parti sollecita il foro del cam pin dell'otturatore durante il ciclo, ed è per questo che la rottura dell'otturatore è così comune in questo punto. Inoltre, il cam pin si consuma più velocemente poiché il porta-otturatore usurandosi incide sul materiale nei punti di contatto. Un perno più aderente con rivestimento a basso attrito riduce notevolmente tutto questo usura.
