Machined Billet Steel For High Strength & Reliable Operation

One-piece guides are machined from solid bar stock without the “through-hole” for added strength and reliable, “bullet-proof” operation. Heat-treated and hardened to withstand the battering between the slide and frame in thousands of firing cycles. Provides the extra strength required when shooting high-performance loads in your 1911. Government and Commander models available in 416 stainless steel.

SPECS: 416 stainless steel. 75 oz (21g) approximate weight. Available for 1911 Govt. model or Commander.

Le guide monopezzo sono lavorate da barre piene senza il "foro passante" per una maggiore resistenza e un funzionamento affidabile e "a prova di proiettile". Trattate termicamente e indurite per resistere agli urti tra carrello e telaio in migliaia di cicli di sparo. Forniscono la forza extra richiesta quando si utilizzano cariche ad alte prestazioni nella tua 1911. Modelli Government e Commander disponibili in acciaio inossidabile 416.

Works great (13/05/2011)

I used this to convert a full size Kimber Stainless Raptor from a full length guide rod to a standard rod so I could use an Ed Brown spring plug (087-881-001). The quality is excellent. It's much smoother than the stock guide rod and is one solid piece instead of the standard 2 piece design. Works great and I'm very happy with it.

Replaced plastic para part drop in easy and tough donconsider the others. Wilson hit it on the head and hafe the price of th compittion the way browning did it with better metal.

Drops right in, and adds a little bit more weight over the stock hollow rod, without deviating from the original specs. For less than $10, I highly recommend it.

Great Spring Guide (22/08/2015)

Don't get suckered into the longer guide rods, they add nothing useful to the 1911. WC rod is a simple easy drop in part that works great.

Nice, solid guide rod. Grabbed this for a Commander rebuild project and was very impressed with the quality of this part. I especially like the cutout on the face that locks onto the bushing link.
