Super-Slick Parts Lighten The Series 80 Pull

Titanium-nitrided parts, with an exclusive moly-disulfide coating, reduce trigger pull weight without risky modifications to Series 80 Colt's firing pin safety system. Reduces the creep and jump in the takeup that's inherent in these guns. When used with custom, after-market parts, trigger pulls as low as 2-½ lbs. can be safely achieved without hammer-follow.

SPECS: Steel, Titanium Nitride coated, gold color. Kit includes hammer pin, sear pin, trigger lever, National Match plunger lever, firing pin block plunger.

Parti nitruro di titanio, con un'esclusiva copertura in molibdeno-disolfuro, riducono il peso della trazione del grilletto senza modifiche rischiose al sistema di sicurezza del percussore della Serie 80 Colt. Riduce lo strisciamento e il salto nella fase di prelievo che è intrinseco in queste armi. Quando usato con parti custom di mercato secondario, si possono ottenere trazioni del grilletto sicure fino a 2-½ lbs senza il rischio di seguito del martello.

SPECIFICHE: Acciaio, rivestito in Nitruro di Titanio, colore oro. Il kit include perno del martello, perno dello scatto, leva del grilletto, leva del percussore National Match, spina del blocco del percussore.

Big difference, no more creep (13/01/2011)

I admit to being a big Cylinder and Slide fan already. I recently picked up a Remington R1, my first 1911 with a Series 80 Firing Pin Safety. The trigger pull was okay but the creep caused by the safety was noticable. I just dropped this kit into the stock pistol and all the creep was gone. All the benifits of the firing pin safety without the negative, well worth the price.

Smooth Trigger (23/11/2011)

Pieces are a nice gold color except they are mostly hidden from view. I installed the parts on a Para P16 with help from online videos and the install took me about an hour of taking my time. The trigger does feel lighter and smoother.

Mostly fits Taurus (13/03/2012)

The kit feels like it helped somewhat, but the firing pin plunger is about .003" too large to fit my ss Taurus; to be fair, C&S website says it fits Colt & Para.

Increases slop in hammer and sear (08/05/2012)

Pins are undersized compared to factory sear/hammer pins. Increases yaw on both sear and hammer.

Nice idea. Insufficient execution.

Simply a great Series 80's 1911 with a smooth trigger pull... Now it is nothing short of "OUTfreckinnnnStanding" As good as ANY Series 70 custom polished trigger job I've ever done !!!

Buy it NOW, It works great, Like glass breaking with Hot butter on top.

It works after couple of shots (10/11/2014)

After putting this kit into a Colt 1991, the trigger lbs was still the same at 6.5. After a couple of rounds at the range it went down to 5.75.

Awesome, 1.25lb drop (29/12/2015)

Works great, excellent fit in Sig TTT, dropped 1.25lbs. I had already polished the internals and bent my sear spring from 5.5lbs to 4.5lbs. Dropped this in and now have 3.25lbs.

It's good as gold. (13/01/2016)

Put this on a Gold Cup, it did improve the trigger overall. Combined with a trigger kit I got to a safe and clean 3.5 lbs. This is better than some new Gold Cups.

Installed in my Regent R200S (11/07/2018)

If you have a series 80 and have installed a c&s trigger enhancement kit, it isn't complete until you've installed this kit! You'll be saying, man that's smooooth.
