This GEN2 version of Cutting Edge’s 77gr bullet is designed with the SealTite® Band located further up on the body changing the projection length to .580". Cutting Edge’s MTH® line is machined out of lead free solid copper bar stock on a CNC lathe. These are a high BC, expanding bullet designed for hunting at all ranges. A unique feature of this bullet is their patented SealTite® band which is a band slightly larger than caliber diameter around the bullet which was designed to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. The SealTite® band also decreases copper fouling which is typically associated with mono metal bullets. These bullets do not mushroom, but instead, fracture. After 1-2"" of penetration, 3-4 petals will break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel about 2-3" creating massive trauma. They will expand down to 1600fps. Questa versione GEN2 del proiettile da 77gr di Cutting Edge è progettata con il SealTite® Band posizionato più in alto sul corpo, modificando la lunghezza di proiezione a .580". La linea MTH® di Cutting Edge è realizzata in barra di rame solido senza piombo, lavorata su tornio CNC. Questi proiettili ad alta BC sono progettati per la caccia a tutte le distanze.
Una caratteristica unica di questo proiettile è il loro SealTite® band, un anello leggermente più grande del diametro del calibro attorno al proiettile, progettato per eliminare i fuggitivi prevenendo il gas blow-by. Il SealTite® band riduce inoltre l'accumulo di rame, tipicamente associato ai proiettili in metallo mono.
Questi proiettili non si deformano, ma si fratturano. Dopo 1-2" di penetrazione, 3-4 petali si staccheranno e si irradieranno verso l'esterno dal canale principale della ferita per circa 2-3", creando un trauma massiccio. Si espandono fino a 1600fps.
