That's the idea behind the American Rifle Company Mausingfield bolt-action receiver, which borrows features from several incredibly iconic rifle designs from the 20th century to provide 21st-century shooters with a rifle that produces premium performance. Each Mausingfield bolt-action receiver, like the name implies, is a combination of elements borrowed from the 1898 Mauser and the M1903 Springfield.
