For Easy Forward Mounting Of Optics

One-piece aluminum Picatinny rail mount replaces the handguard - no gunsmithing! - to give your rifle a mounting platform for an intermediate eye relief scope, red dot, holographic or reflex sight. Low profile enables co-witnessing of the factory sights with red dot sights. Recoil lug, plus dual clamps attach quickly to any standard weight barrel without modifications. Mount remains in place during field stripping.

SPECS: Aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Mounting hardware and instructions included. M14/M1A -129⁄16" (31.9cm) long. 12.4 oz. (352 g) wt. Fits M14/M1A family of rifles. M1 Garand -93⁄8" (23cm) long. 6.5 oz.(184g) wt.

Montaggio su rotaia Picatinny in alluminio monopezzo che sostituisce il paramano - senza bisogno di un armaiolo! - per fornire al tuo fucile una piattaforma di montaggio per un cannocchiale con rilievo oculare intermedio, mirino a punto rosso, olografico o a riflessione. Il profilo basso consente la co-witnessing dei mirini di fabbrica con i mirini a punto rosso. La controbattuta, insieme a due morsetti, si attacca rapidamente a qualsiasi canna di peso standard senza modifiche. Il montaggio rimane in posizione durante lo smontaggio sul campo.

Great for Old Soldiers (09/05/2013)

A great design, flawless machining and finishing are only part of the story. This addition to your Garand was obviously created by genuine Garand enthusiasts and it shows.

The lavishly illustrated installation and use instructions are detailed and reflect a deep understanding of the M1 Garand.

Even with a modest, long eye relief scope, this addition to my Garand is a joy. Today's groups were the best I have ever achieved with this rifle.

The reception by my fellow Garand enthusiasts was also very positive not only because this is the "best Garand scope mounting system I've seen" from a serious Korea veteran but also accolades for how well it fits the profile of the rifle.

Oh, and the cheek weld with the low mounted scope is just as good as with the installed iron sights.

We have a winner here!

Solid fit and easy installation (14/10/2017)

Looks good on the rifle and lets you add a low mounted red dot or LER scope. Easy installation. I like the Trijicon MRO (American made) or the Aimpoint H2 (not from America).

The rail and optics adds a little weight, but the Garand was never a light weight rifle. If it gets heavy on the range or out hunting just think about the Americans that carried it across Europe, the Pacific or the Korean peninsula and then you can suck it up and quit complaining.
