quality magazine (09/10/2015)

I purchased this magazine for a WW1 era DWM Luger. The Luger is a infrequent shooter that I wanted to have an extra magazine for. I discovered the original Luger magazines need a tool to load. This one is no exception. With out the tool, loading the magazine is very hard. I have used it for a couple boxes of ammo and have had good results with this magazine. I have used Mec-Gar magazines with other firearms and they have always been very good quality magazines.

Great Magazine for my Old Timer (13/12/2015)

Have a 1917 DWM Artillery Luger that I wanted to shoot but the original wood bottom mag would not feed properly. Got this from Brownell's and it works perfectly in a 99 year old pistol. Not glassy smooth like a pre war commercial magazine, but totally functional. Love it! Buy with confidence.

I purchased a 1923 DWM it came with original Mag. but I wanted a couple I would not mind getting banged up! These 2 I purchased fit the bill just fine. I am very happy and will purchase more.

I have owned a very nice 1938 Luger with 2 mags numbered to match the pistol, for many years. I did not want to use these matching mags if I ever wanted to shoot it The new mags are a work of art. The quality is outstanding, including the floor plates. The fit is perfect.
