DIRECT IMPINGEMENT BUILDERS KIT for the AR-15 Superlative Arms has put together a kit to make it easier for the end-user to get everything they need for the operating system of their AR-15. In this kit you will get a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block with their Patented Bleed Off® Mode and Patented Exterior Locking Detent for the adjustment screw, completed with a pre-installed 304 Stainless Steel gas tube in Melonite (for greater heat and corrosion resistance), and the new Superlative Arms direct impingement DLC (Diamond-like Coating) bolt carrier (bolt, cam pin, firing pin, and firing pin retainer NOT INCLUDED). The Superlative Arms bolt carrier is compatible with all AR-15 bolts and this kit gives the end-user the freedom to choose their own bolt to match their preferred cartridge. The Superlative Arms direct impingement bolt carrier is made from 8620 steel featuring a chrome lined bore (as per mil spec) with enhanced machining and a superior DLC coating; offering greater lubricity, less friction, and easier cleaning. To top off the carrier, we mounted a DLC gas key using OCKS (Optimized Carrier Key Screws) by Ned Christiansen resulting in the best possible staking and screw retention. Note: The DLC color, tint, and tone will vary from lot to lot, can and will be slightly different than photos. Superlative Arms manufactures all gas blocks and carriers in-house to meet or exceed mil-spec. ***Please note that this kit is currently for the AR-15 platform only*** The Superlative Arms Patented Bleed Off Mode, direct impingement, gas block for the AR-15 platform adjusts the gas flow by bleeding the gas out the front of the block instead of restricting the flow like conventional adjustable blocks. RESULTS: The pressure used in the block is reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier. The remaining gas and pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler. Reduction of wear on the bolt carrier group components and upper receiver. Reduction of felt recoil allowing for faster follow-up shots. Patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination. In Bleed Off Mode the gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore, there is no erosion or seizing of the screw, and no loss of detent due to carbon build up. Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out. When using SBR’s and/or suppressors the Bleed Off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back. Vantaggi della Modalità Bleed Off

In modalità Bleed Off, la vite di regolazione non limita il flusso di gas, evitando erosione o bloccaggio della vite e perdite di detent a causa dell'accumulo di carbonio. Anche se rimovibile, è stato aggiunto un meccanismo di sicurezza per impedire di svitare accidentalmente la vite completamente.
Quando si utilizzano SBR e/o suppressori, la porta di Bleed Off consente di espellere la pressione eccessiva dal block, riducendo il blow back.
