The SOLGW V2 profile was designed with customers’ needs in mind, delivering increased accuracy while balancing suppressed handling and performance. With the significantly increased chamber support, the V2 contour barrels are better suited for modern configurations where lights, lasers and suppressors all add to a commonly muzzle heavy carbine. The transfer of material to the rear of the barrel helps to offset the weight of accessories, and stiffens the barrel at the same time - reducing POI shifts between suppressed and unsuppressed use. The gas journal length has been shortened as well to optimized weight distribution, so please note that fixed front sight bases will not fit on this barrel, only low-profile gas blocks. V2 barrels remain appropriately gassed for use with or without a suppressor of your choosing. The Cold Hammer Forged version is a great option for shooters who frequently get their carbines hot, and are looking for a highly durable barrel. Il barilotto V2 di SOLGW è stato progettato tenendo a mente le esigenze dei clienti, offrendo una maggiore precisione mentre bilancia la maneggevolezza e le prestazioni in configurazioni con silenziatori. Con un supporto della camera significativamente aumentato, i barili a profilo V2 sono più adatti per configurazioni moderne dove luci, laser e silenziatori contribuiscono a rendere il carabina pesante sulla volata.
Il trasferimento di materiale verso la parte posteriore del barilotto aiuta a compensare il peso degli accessori e irrigidisce il barilotto, riducendo i cambiamenti di punto d'impatto (POI) tra l'uso con e senza silenziatore. La lunghezza del gas journal è stata accorciata per ottimizzare la distribuzione del peso, pertanto si prega di notare che le basi di mira fisse non si adattano a questo barilotto, solo i gas block a profilo basso.
I barili V2 rimangono correttamente gasati per l'uso con o senza un silenziatore a scelta. La versione Cold Hammer Forged è un'ottima opzione per i tiratori che riscaldano frequentemente i loro carabine e cercano un barilotto altamente durevole.
