Gives The Most Realistic Training Experience Short Of Live Fire

"Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger" training pistol simulates the size, weight, and functional features of a Glock 17/22 pistol to provide an exceptionally realistic supplement to actual live-fire training. The dual-laser system gives the trainee detailed feedback on what the muzzle is doing when the shot breaks and after. The red trigger "take up" laser gives immediate feedback on trigger mechanics during the trigger pull, while the green shot indicating laser gives a visual track of the trainee’s follow-through. Unlike using a laser insert or cartridge in an actual pistol, the SIRT’s auto-resetting trigger allows for realistic multiple strings of fire without having to rack the slide. Removable magazine can be adjusted to match the weight of various ammo loads, from 10 rounds of 115 grain 9mm to 15 rounds of 180 grain .40 S&W. A switch lets you shut off the take-up indicating laser and just train with the shot-indicating laser, and a separate, internal switch, lets you reverse the red and green lasers. Purpose-built as a training device that cannot fire a live, so no FFL required.

Molded polymer frame, black, with safety red aluminum slide. Runs on one CR-123 battery, included. Lasers are windage/elevation adjustable. Includes one training magazine, Allen wrenches, instructions, and training DVD.

"Pistola da allenamento con grilletto che indica il reset" simula le dimensioni, il peso e le caratteristiche funzionali di una pistola Glock 17/22 per fornire un supplemento eccezionalmente realistico all'allenamento con fuoco reale. Il sistema a doppio laser fornisce al tirocinante un feedback dettagliato su cosa fa la volata quando il colpo viene sparato e dopo. Il laser rosso del grilletto "take up" fornisce un feedback immediato sulla meccanica del grilletto durante l'azione del grilletto, mentre il laser verde che indica il colpo fornisce una traccia visiva del follow-through del tirocinante. A differenza dell'uso di un inserto laser o di una cartuccia in una pistola reale, il grilletto auto-azzerante del SIRT consente di effettuare realistiche sequenze multiple di fuoco senza dover armare il carrello. Il caricatore rimovibile può essere regolato per corrispondere al peso di vari carichi di munizioni, da 10 colpi di 9mm da 115 grani a 15 colpi di .40 S&W da 180 grani. Un interruttore consente di spegnere il laser indicatore di take-up e di allenarsi solo con il laser che indica il colpo, e un altro interruttore interno permette di invertire i laser rosso e verde. Costruito appositamente come dispositivo di allenamento che non può sparare a fuoco vivo, quindi non è richiesta la licenza FFL.

Telaio in polimero stampato, nero, con carrello in alluminio rosso sicurezza. Funziona con una batteria CR-123, inclusa. I laser sono regolabili in alzo e deriva. Include un caricatore da allenamento, chiavi Allen, istruzioni e DVD di formazione.

The first time I pull the trigger and see the green laser to my target and I said to my self....... I love this SIRT. It help me to practice inside my house without going to the range, specially right now its too hot here in Las Vegas. Now I can do more practice, aiming and change mag. I did not change the trigger setting because I like the trigger pull heavy than my actual gun, even do you can make it lighter. And feels like a real gun.

The trigger wasn't exactly like a glock but it is close to a stock glock trigger pull. The ability to turn off the red trigger prep light is a big plus. The sights were ok but being that they can't be repleced with good sights is a major downer. The absence of a slide lock and the magazine that doesn't fit tight into the frame makes dryfire training reloads useless.

Excellent tool, but slide is FIXED (26/03/2013)

The description does not point out that the slide does NOT move. I was hoping to do complete reloading drills, and was surprised to find the slide did not move. I agree that the mag is loose and that the trigger isn't much like a Glock. I use mine for point shooting practice more than anything else. There are less expensive options available than this one, hopefully Brownell's will pick them up.

Great Tool! (21/05/2013)

I have been training with this product for over a month and have easily pulled the trigger well over 1500 times; as of yet I still have not needed to change the original battery. For me, this pistol has already paid for itself in what I would have spent on conventional ammo for the same amount of trigger time. I love it!

A few thoughts about the gun:
Initially the trigger was much heavier than my glock, and I was skeptical about it's benefit(it is adjustable, but I have not made any adjustments to the factory settings). However, after some use I found that the additional pull weight has been instrumental in strengthening my trigger finger and grip hand, while simultaneously tightening up my shooting technique. Now I love it!

As others have mentioned, the slide is stationary, with insert-able weighted magazines. I purchased some additional weighted mags, and have no problems doing tactical reloads using my current tac gear setup. Although, the magazines are loose in the mag well, that hasn't hindered me from still performing reload drills.

Overall awesome gun, great construction and reliability (so far). I highly recommend this for shooters that want to practice at home, while saving money on ammo costs. Great for shooting drills, testing tac gear setup, and home defense/ room clearing training!
