Hardened-Alloy Steel For Durability & Long Life

Specifically designed for durability and extra-long service life. EDM, wire cut, then CNC, finish machined from A-2 tool steel and hardened to Rc 48-52 so they hold a finely-stoned edge for thousands and thousands of rounds without failure. Pre-prepped hooks and sear face require only final stoning to achieve a clean, crisp trigger pull. Plus, the sear features the proper relief cut so the hammer resets firmly during cycling. All parts checked for proper hardness.

SPECS: A-2 tool steel, in-the-white or Stainless Steel, Rc 48-52.

Progettato specificamente per durabilità e una lunga vita utile. EDM, taglio con filo, poi lavorato CNC da acciaio per utensili A-2 e indurito a Rc 48-52 così da mantenere un bordo finemente affilato per migliaia e migliaia di colpi senza fallimenti. Ganci pre-preparati e faccia del sear richiedono solo una rifinitura finale per ottenere un'azione del grilletto pulita e netta. Inoltre, il sear presenta il taglio di alleggerimento corretto affinché il martello si riarmi fermamente durante il ciclo di sparo. Tutte le parti sono controllate per la corretta durezza.

SPECS: Acciaio per utensili A-2, grezzo o in Acciaio Inossidabile, Rc 48-52.

Great performance from C&S! (06/01/2012)

As stated, the sear did require minimal stoning with the finest ceramic stone to polish up the contact surfaces. My trigger breaks right at 4.5 ounces and feels just like breaking that "Glass" rod. If you aren't familiar with ignition system parts then please don't try to install this on your own!

I ordered this sear along with the Tactical II hammer. Wow! Trigger pull is crisp and smooth as glass without any modification to the engagement surfaces. Final finish is excellent and looks as tough as nails. Installation is very simple but slight fitting to your thumb safety may be required to ensure it engages properly.

CS011 1911 AUTO TACTICAL SEAR (22/01/2012)

I used this sear with a Cylinder & Slide CS202 Tactical II Hammer #206-039-003, and the sear required a more positive primary angle then was on the sear and a very small secondary angle then I normally cut and polish with EGW, Wilson and Brown sears and hammers. The hooks were pre cut, squared and well polished at .020" which is within normal competition height. The sear has held its cut and polished edge for well over 10000 rounds and still breaks at 2 Lbs 12 oz with no follow or other problems. Sear is hard high quality steel and very well prepped.

I'm a satisfied customer. I haven't bought enough stuff for my 1911 to be a truly picky purchaser; maybe in the future, but right now, the products I have bought have produced the results I have been hoping for with a minimum of fuss and bother. The sear only needed (did it really or did I just need to do it?) a couple of strokes with the polishing stone before installation. Much crisper on the break. With the old, I could "feel" the break coming. With this it's like you always read...definitely surprise with no clue of when it's going to break. I love it.

Complessivamente non male, piani ben lucidati. Ma la fresatura che ospita il disconnetore, non è perfettamente al centro!
