High-visibility sight combinations put you on target faster in high stress or low light conditions by pulling your eyes to the front sight. Sight set includes non-tritium, white line V-notch for the rear sight, green tritium dot surrounded by a white ring for the front. Low profile, no-snag design is great for carry and combat competition guns. Matched sight sets offer direct replacement of factory sights. Big Dot (BD) front sight has a large, easy-to-see white ring surrounding the tritium dot. Airlite Ti replaces pinned front sight on fixed sight guns, requires drilling for pin.

Great Fast Acquisition Sights (11/12/2017)

First time using this style of sights and it did take some getting used to. After practice, they are a very fast setup for defensive shooting. Install wasn't bad. Just be patient and file a little between fitting. The rear sight makes one handed cycling of the slide easier.

My only complaint with these so far is the finish has worn off the back right corner of the rear sight from daily carry. Still function 100% and it doesn't bother me.

Even Better than a standard dot set. (11/03/2010)

I find the Big Dot Express sight set is even better than the standard dot set I put on my M&P 45fs. I put this set on my M&P357 and find it is the fastest and easiest set to use. I would even replace the standard dot set right now, except that I don't have the money to replace that set yet.

This is a great sight set, but I gave up my 3-dot night sights to get the "old guy" big dot front. I had hoped to keep the small rear dots and just add the front sight, but they are different heights and totally screw up the elevation aimpoint. As such, I used the whole kit. The Big Dot certainly helps with front sight pick-up, but I REALLY wish they made the 24-7 set for the M&P. Works well for now, but if XS ever develops a low-profile illuminated rear, I'll be replacing mine. Of note: the rear sight has a very small hex locking screw, even smaller than the original SW night sights, so it can strip VERY easily. Use the locktite (provided) and be gentle with tightening it down. Give your old eyes a break - get this sight!
