Adapts Your Collimator For Use With Large Objective Optics

Precision-manufactured device greatly extends the use and range of your optical collimator for rifles equipped with large objective scopes or scopes mounted in rings high above the centerline of the bore. Very easy to use: Mount your collimator onto the elevation arm, insert your bore spud in the elevator block, then lock with thumbscrew. Insert your spud into the bore and move elevation shaft up or down. Adjust the collimator so its grid view is near the center of the objective lens, and lock collimator height with second thumbscrew.

NOTE: Can be used with any bore spud or arbor 1/2" or smaller to include expandable arbors.

SPECS: Elevator Block - Aluminum. 1¾" (4.5cm) long, ¾"(1.9cm) wide, 1¾" high. Elevation Shaft - Stainless steel. ¼" (6.3mm) diameter. Elevation Arm - Aluminum. 3⁄8" (9.5mm) diameter. Includes instructions. Can be used with any bore spud or arbor 1/2" OD or smaller to include expandable arbors.

Adattate il Vostro Collimatore per l'Uso con Ottiche ad Ampio Obiettivo

Dispositivo di precisione che estende notevolmente l'utilizzo e la gamma del vostro collimatore ottico per fucili dotati di mirini con grande obiettivo o mirini montati ad anelli molto al di sopra della linea centrale della canna. Molto semplice da usare: montate il vostro collimatore sul braccio di elevazione, inserite il vostro bore spud nel blocco elevatore, poi bloccatelo con la vite a farfalla. Inserite il vostro spud nella canna e muovete l'asta di elevazione su o giù. Regolate il collimatore in modo che la sua griglia visiva sia vicino al centro della lente obiettivo e bloccate l'altezza del collimatore con la seconda vite a farfalla.

NOTA: Può essere utilizzato con qualsiasi bore spud o arbor da 1/2" o più piccolo, inclusi gli arbors espandibili.

Great Product (02/07/2013)

When I ordered this item I thought it was way over priced. But I was fed up with trying to bore sight my "modern sporting rifles" with their high scope placement over their bores.

My FNH SCAR 17S has it's scope 3.5" above the bore and this collimator elevator worked perfectly.

It's well made and worth every penny!

Large scope bore-sighting miracle (25/09/2015)

Well finally! Tried to formulate this type of tool at NRA summer school in Trinidad; but ran out of time. Struggled with large scopes here in the west with a Bushnell Bore sighter that couldn't accommodate the spud. Bought a laser tool that worked just o.k. given range/distance limitations of my shop til now. Looking through the catalog for alternatives for bore sighting noticed this tool and immediately ordered it and put it to use as soon as received. Worked perfectly and now I can readily bore sight the largest scopes that have been showing up in my shop even with the tallest rings and bases. Five stars fantastic design, materials, and very versatile, very easy to use.

Absolutely Top Notch (08/12/2015)

If you need to boresight a rifle, especially a gas gun with an elevated scope/mount (M1A, AR-15, etc.), this is the tool for you. Used this elevator to boresight numerous M1A which require a scope mount which sits approx. 2.375" above the bore. This device makes using an optical collimator a breeze!

Well thought out, well designed and quality craftmanship all in the same package. The BEST part? Made in the U.S.A.

I like the design... (15/08/2018)

This elevator was packaged well and easy to use. I really like how the design has all the specific details covered. I can see how these things can be very robust; however, the one I received will be returned very soon. The horizontal rod on the elevator shaft moves, not much, but it does move. This allows the cross hairs in the optic to move from one side to the other very discretely. Unfortunately, I learned this on the first three rifles I used it on and needless to say, the customer wasn't very happy. I will be ordering another one as soon as my return is completed and hopefully it will be better.
