Keeps Debris Out Of Forearm, Provides A Neat Appearance

Screws into the front of any Yankee Hill free-float handguard to provide added protection for the end of the forearm. Hides view of the barrel from the front of the handguard for a clean, finished look, and keeps large debris out. Cooling ports allow rapid escape of barrel heat and promote airflow under the handguard. Install using supplied threadlocker.

SPECS: Aluminum, mil-spec hardcoat anodized, matte black. 15/16" (2.5cm) I.D.

Si avvita nella parte anteriore di qualsiasi handguard flottante Yankee Hill per fornire una protezione aggiuntiva alla fine dell'astina. Nasconde la vista del canna dalla parte anteriore dell'handguard per un aspetto pulito e rifinito, e impedisce l'ingresso di detriti di grandi dimensioni. Le porte di raffreddamento consentono una rapida dissipazione del calore della canna e promuovono il flusso d'aria sotto l'handguard. Installazione utilizzando il frenafiletti fornito.

SPECIFICHE: Alluminio, anodizzato duro secondo specifiche militari, nero opaco. Diametro interno 15/16" (2,5cm).

No YHM Forearm is complet without it! (14/09/2010)

Got this product with the YHM Diamond Series Handguard Specter. It fits perfectly and gave the hardguard a great finished look. Would recommend this product to friend.

This is a nice piece , as are most all YHM parts . I have a YHM full float carbine lenght handguard ... Unfortunately it doesn't come close to fitting ..... So make sure it'll fit before you buy one .... I'm sure it would look nice if it fit ......

Does what it's supposed to (23/01/2011)

Five stars because it does what it is supposed to do with typical YHM build quality. I've installed for others. It is easy to install, looks good, and is relatively cheap. When I installed a YHM forearm on my own gun, though, I didn't even consider putting it on because it just ads weight and reduces ventilation, IMHO.

Perfect touch for YHM handguards (06/05/2011)

I have always admired YHM products for their overall quality, design and price. YHM made an excellent choice when they design and produce a matching end cap for their freefloat forearms. Not only this accessory keep debris out of the tube but the overall look of the set up is quite outstanding no matter which YHM freefloat tube you choose. It's 5 star all the way.

does what it is supposed to do. be careful though, if you have a carbine gas system and a 7in rail, it WILL NOT fit. same goes for any combination of gas system and the same length handguard. it hits the shoulder of the barrel before it even reaches the thread of the handguard. however, if you use a mid length handguard on a carbine gas system, which i do, it does look pretty good
